About us
The Founder Story
As an Aerospace Engineering major, I lived this myself. I spent countless hours outside of class watching YouTube videos and chatting with AI just to understand the concepts behind the math.
The "aha" moment
To promote STEM education in Uzbekistan and Central Asia, I decided to create the platform that helps to understand math and make it accessible to everyone. Instead of complaining about the gap in resources, I decided to build the solution.
I realized that math isn't hard because the concepts are impossible—it's hard because the way it's taught is often disconnected from reality. Umidly is my attempt to bridge that gap.

We didn't just build this on a whim. We surveyed 26 students and found that 80% wanted a better way to visualize math, and 56% admitted they were just memorizing formulas without understanding them. We validated the problem before writing a single line of code.
Who's behind Umidly
We are two engineering students based in Uzbekistan who work to make STEM education accessible to everyone. We lived the problem, and now we're building the solution for the next generation of engineers in Central Asia.
